This is why I'd like to reassure you that you are in good hands.

What is counselling?
If you are finding it hard to cope with life challenges and are feeling overwhelmed, it may be a good idea to reach out to someone who can help you to put your problems into perspective.
Counselling is a conversational process whereby you are encouraged to talk about your problems and challenges.
By practising "talking therapy," you will find clarity and relief. What's more, you may also eventually gain strategies to manage your problems more efficiently.
The aim of therapy is to help you to restore the relationship to that part of yourself that is already healthy and whole.
We all have this part (the core of our being), but sometimes we get disconnected from it through traumatic experiences and socialisation.
What approach to counselling do you work with?
In a nutshell: what is it like to work with me?
I take a conversational approach to our sessions. Our sessions will be an interaction between you and me.
Sometimes I will listen to you to allow you to explote your thoughts and emotions.
Sometimes, I will ask you questions that allow you to explore even further.
Sometimes, my questions will challenge you, and that's ok.
Sometimes, I will give information, that can help you make sense of your experience. This is called psycho-education.
I work in a way that respects your process but also, in a way that empowers you to create your own space.
After all, therapy should be about being able to create a space you can call your own, within the relationship with your therapist, where you can feel safe to explore and to test new ways of thinking and feeling, and where you can report what was like to behave differently in your every day life.
My approach is quite eclectic and very holistic.
This means that I do not advocate one particular school of counselling and psychotherapy but I seek to focus on what works for my clients. In this sense, I am client-centred.
It all depends on my clients' needs and the type of experiences they are seeking therapy for.
I am an Integrative Counsellor, also qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, and I have been a practising Life Coaching for many years. My approach combines talking therapy, CBT, hypnosis, and psycho-education.
How many sessions of counselling should I have?
You can have counselling for six sessions or more.
Generally, if it is your first time, I recommend committing to a minimum of six sessions. Six sessions allow you to experience counselling to a level of depth that you may find beneficial.
Around the 4th or 5th session, I discuss with my clients whether they wish to continue with therapy and we make a review of our work so far and we agree on what they would like to work on, if they wish to continue.
Some clients are aware that they need long-term therapy. Long-term therapy is for clients who feel they have problems for which they will not find relief in six sessions.
Long-term therapy allows the therapist and the client to work on deeper issues, such as trauma, and pervasive life patterns.
How much is the counselling session?
Counselling/psychotherapy session (50-minute session): £50
Holistic Coaching - Life Purpose and Career Coaching - Relationship Coaching (50-minute session):
Hypnocounselling sessions: these sessions include a hypnotherapeutic intervention in each session.
-60 minutes per session is £75
-90 minutes per session is £90
To make the most of our work together, I ask clients to commit to a minimum of 6 sessions.
What happens in the first session?
In the first session, we will complete a thorough assessment and discuss what you want to achieve with the therapy.
I take a collaborative, solution-focused approach with my clients, which means that my clients decide what they want to work on.
We agree to work on a specific issue, set some goals, and review our direction after a few sessions.
Is online counselling safe?, does it work?
Online counselling is perfectly safe. I have been working online with clients for a few years now and I can say that, if anything, clients feel that they can open up even more than when they are in the room, face to face.
In order to make it safe for both of us, we discuss a few ground rules in the first session, where you get the chance to ask any questions you want to know. You can also clarify your doubts during the initial consultation.
I use a very safe Telehealth application that is very secure. I send you the link and all you need to do is to click on it, no downloads or time consuming operations.
Online counselling allows you to make better use of your time and to enjoy the freedom that comes from choosing your own "safe spot" from where to have the session. It also allows you to stay put to process your thoughts and emotions in your quiet place, instead of having the leave the therapy room and go out on the street when you are still processing what went on in the session.

I know that you are looking for help because you have a problem that is causing you pain. There are many reasons why clients come to therapy and one thing is always true: you are in distress or suffering in one way or another and you want to stop suffering. You want to change "something" about yourself or your life.
I offer you a caring and safe space for you to explore your challenges without fear of being judged.
Booking a Session
I get it: contacting a stranger to talk about your problems may be daunting. I just want to reassure you that there is nothing to be nervous about. Just follow the steps below and everything will be all right.
If you want to contact me for more information about how I can help you, please send me an e-mail telling me about what you are looking for, whether you are looking for coaching, hypnotherapy, short-term counselling, or long-term psychotherapy, and a brief description of your problem.
I will get back to you by e-mail within 48 hours and I will give you my availability. If you want to discuss the possibility of working with me over the phone, we can arrange to have a 10-15 min brief consultation. Some clients do not need to do this and they simply want to make the booking. It is up to you whether you need a phone conversation to get a feel of what working with me may be like.
Once you have decided that you want to work with me, I will let you know my availability. We will agree on the date and time for your appointment and then, I will send you the client contract in writing with all the details you need to know and the information you need to complete for me to practise safely. You will need to complete the information requested and sign the contract and then send it back to me by e-mail.
You can then book your appointment by making a payment within 48 hours of agreeing on a date and time for your appointment. I will confirm your booking only after receiving the payment. Invoices can be provided on request.
I will also only then send you the details to join the virtual room.
Payments will be made in advance to the sessions as agreed in the terms of our agreement and via bank transfer. You will need to write your complete name as a reference for the transaction.
Allow 24 hours for me to receive the payment and to confirm our sessions. I will send you an e-mail to confirm.
We are now ready to start our sessions!
