Booking Appointments - Terms and Conditions 


Thank you for choosing us to help you in the process of working on your mental and emotional health and wellbeing.

By booking a session with us, you agree to these standard terms and conditions.


These Terms and Conditions are the same as points 6. Payments and 7. Session regularity, late arrival, missed sessions and no-shows in the Therapeutic Contract.


6. Payment


  • Payment of the fee should be made within 24 hours of booking an appointment.

  • An appointment is considered confirmed only after I have received your payment.

  • If you do not pay the appointment within 24 hours of making the booking with me, I am not obliged to keep your time slot.

  • If you cancel your session within 48 hours (with less than 48 hours’ notice) before the scheduled time of the appointment, there will be no refund and no transfer of funds to another session.

  • If you need to cancel the session after paying for it, you should write me an e-mail as soon as you know you need to cancel, giving 48 hours' notice before the session starts to receive the refund or to transfer the fees to another session. 

  • The exceptions to the above are: medical emergencies, sudden bereavement, and if you are unwell due to Covid-19.

  • Refunds are given (provided the above terms are followed) minus the cost of the transaction, which is 1.4% + 20 p as charged by the service provider (Stripe).

  • To get the maximum benefit from sessions, you should avoid cancelling and/or rescheduling sessions once agreed with me on the day and time of our regular sessions.

  • Clients get the maximum benefit of the therapy sessions when they commit to attending sessions at the same day/time every week.

  • Weekly sessions are given priority.

  • If I have to reschedule or cancel a session due to an unforeseen event or emergency, I will aim to let you know as soon as possible before the session. In case I cancel and ask to re-schedule a session you have already paid, your payment will be transferred to the next session.

  • Please note that I will endeavour to inform you as soon as I know of any planned disruptions to our sessions, for example, when going away on holidays or attending seminars and conferences so that we have plenty of time to discuss any possible implications. The exception to this is falling ill with Covid-19.

  • Receipts of payment can be provided upon request. Payments are made via this website or into my business account. The bank account will be provided in an e-mail when requested. Please add your full name as “reference” of the operation.

  • Please keep all payment information provided by me, such as bank details confidential.


7. Session regularity, late arrival, missed sessions, and no-shows.


  • The best outcomes are achieved when sessions take place weekly, on the same day and time.

  • Sessions can be contracted on a pay as you go basis, or in blocks of 3, 6, and 12. 

  • If the client wants to have a session every other week, or fortnightly, this will be discussed and the therapist will allocate sessions according to the availability of slots for such sessions. 

  • Please arrive on time for the sessions. There will be no make-up and/or refunds for the time missed.

  • If you do not show up for a session, I will expect you to send me and e-mail or call me to let me know if you are continuing with the sessions.

  • If I don’t hear back from you after you missed the session, I will endeavour to email you once to check whether you are continuing with the sessions. If you do not get back to me within a week (7 days), I will assume that you are not continuing with the sessions and your appointment slot will be given to another client.

  • If you missed two consecutive sessions and I do not hear back from you, I will assume that you have decided that our therapeutic relationship has come to an end.

  • After the first session, I will send you the Therapeutic Contract, and in order to continue your sessions you are required to return the contract duly completed and signed.
